Apolipoprotein A1 level in plasma of patients with diabetes and diabetic patients with COVID-19 as a possible marker of disease

Increased levels of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) and apolipoprotein A1 (ApoA1) in plasma is associated with a reduced risk developing cardiovascular diseases (CVD). In addition to its potential cardioprotective function, HDL ApoA1, the main apolipoprotein, also have antidiabetic properties. The aim study was determine level ApoA1 blood patients (n = 81) type 2 diabetes mellitus COVID-19. determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) (Elabscience, USA). measurements were performed at an optical density 450 nm. We showed that especially COVID-19 significantly lower than healthy people. Blood did not show further decrease both compared without diabetes. Thus, may be one promising markers severe
